Icon-poor by design. Marks earn their place.

The four core marks

UNDERSCORE
The wordmark cursor. Red. Implies the system is still writing.
DEFENDED
A challenge was raised; the persona's argument held.
CONCEDED
A challenge landed; the persona updated.
DISPUTED
A challenge landed; the persona refused. The most common verdict.
A_

Why an underscore?

It reads three ways at once: a typing cursor, a command-line prompt, an unfinished sentence. Together they say: the system is always still writing. The verdict you have now is the one we have so far — calibration is ongoing.

The underscore is the only piece of UI animation in the wordmark. It blinks at 1Hz on dark surfaces; it sits steady on Paper.

UI icon set · 24px stroke

When an icon is needed, it's a 24px line icon, stroke 1.5, in currentColor. Filled icons and color icons are not allowed in the system. We are deliberately icon-poor.

Persona ID is two-digit zero-padded, in Syncopate, on the persona's color. The number reads as a council seat — like a juror. 01_SOCIOPATH in transcripts; the chip in avatars.

Typewriter — reserved for live generation
> THE SOCIOPATH   The market is mispricing duration risk by approximately 40 basis points

When a persona is generating, text appears character-by-character with a red cursor. The moment generation completes, the cursor stops. Don't decorate finished text with this animation.
